Associate Professor Chip Bailey received an award for his NIH R21 proposal entitled "Patient Self-management and Gene Guided Therapy for CHC" for a two-year period, awarded April 13, 2012, to March 31, 2014, at $431,750.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Donald Bailey, Jr., PhD, RN, presented the 2011 Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) State-of-the-Science Lecture, “Illness Uncertainty in Adult Cancer Patients,” today during the ONS 11th National Conference on Cancer Nursing Research in Los Angeles. Bailey is an associate professor at the Duke University School of Nursing in Durham, NC.
