Cullman Foundation Scholarship
The Hugh & Nan Cullman Nursing Scholarship fund was established in 2009 to support scholarships for nursing students participating in DUSON-sponsored global health and clinical immersion experiences with preference given to students studying in the regions of the Caribbean and Central America.
For the current academic year, School of Nursing students (ABSN and MSN) who participate in a DUSON-sponsored global clinical immersion experience in the Caribbean and Central America will receive $600 scholarships. ABSN and MSN students who participate in a DUSON-sponsored global clinical immersion experience in Asia or Africa will receive $300 scholarships.
There is no application for this scholarship. Once students are accepted into the DUSON-sponsored global clinical immersion experience, the Office of Global and Community Health Initiatives (OGACHI) will provide the student information to the Financial Aid office. The Cullman scholarship will post to the student’s Bursar account in the semester of the global trip.
Please note: If the student does not complete the global clinical immersion experience, the scholarship will be cancelled.
