Traineeships

The School of Nursing submits an application for traineeship grants to the US Department of Health and Human Services each year. If the application is approved and funded, traineeship awards are made to students according to traineeship guidelines. Current students are notified via email when traineeships become available.
Award: Varies
Awards will be made on the basis of merit (e.g. BSN GPA, current GPA at Duke, GRE test scores) and financial need. Students who have received need based scholarship awards from the School of Nursing are considered eligible to apply (the traineeship award would replace the need based award).
