Boseman, Cooper, Douglas, Hall and Jackson Attend Women's Leadership Conference

Tammy Boseman, Charnetta Cooper, Bonita Douglas, Keysha Hall and Karen Jackson recently attended the United Collegiate Women's Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GA.

"Attending the conference afforded me the opportunity to learn and grow through shared experiences with other leaders," said Keysha Hall. "The conference also enabled me to have a true team building experience with my DUSON colleagues."

There were a variety of sessions to choose from dealing with leadership, social justice, privilege and how to become a change agent. Opportunities for engagement, reflection and networking were also present.

"Through attending this conference, I gained a better understanding of the value of authenticity in leadership within my professional career and for my personal use," said Tammy Boseman. "There was much to learn within each session and I felt empowered leaving the conference, I was able to own my biases, fears and comfort levels."

The United Collegiate Women’s Leadership Conference is an interactive transformational experience where women from all walks of life come together to understand the authentic leader they have within themselves, while preparing them to tackle critical issues facing their campus and larger communities.
