Brandon Submits Multi-PI Subcontract Proposal

Kudos to Debra Brandon and her entire team for the submission of their Multi-PI Subcontract proposal to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin on their upcoming NIH R01 application entitled "Implementation of an Evidence-based Parentally Administered Intervention for Preterm Infants." This proposal requests funding for a five-year period with a start date of April 1, 2019.

This study will determine how to successfully implement a known effective developmental behavioral intervention in neonatal units. These data are vital to deliver early interventions that can promote preterm infant growth and development, improve public health and reduce cost.

Duke will serve as Quantitative Data Center and two H-HOPE implementation sites (Duke and Durham Regional-[DRH]); together recruiting and enrolling approximately 176 pre-implementation and 176 H-HOPE infant/parent(s).
