Brennan-Cook and Matters Present at the National NICHE Meeting in Austin, Texas

Jill Brennan-Cook and Loretta Matters recently presented at the National NICHE meeting in Austin, Texas. Brennan-Cook presented on "Gero Boot Camp: A 'Win-Win,' Promoting the Professional Development of Geriatric Resource Nurses while Enhancing Student Nurse Learning." Margie Molloy and Matters were also a part of this project.

Matters presented on "Maximizing Communicative Abilities in People with Dementia," and "Preventing NICHE Drift: Hardwiring the GRN Model within Existing Health System Structures." While Matters didn't present, she was a part of two other presentations given by colleagues from the Duke University Health System entitled "Reinvigorating NICHE: Simple but Focused Steps to Fan the Flames of Enthusiasm," and "Silver Star Medication Review Process: Influencing Practice in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit."
