The Duke University Office of Global Affairs has opened a new call for proposals for funds up to $25,000 for research projects, courses, conferences or related activities that touch upon Brazil, India and East Africa.

Duke has significant research and expertise in Brazil, India, and East Africa. Wishing to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and establish strategic partnerships in these regions and countries, the Office of Global Affairs (OGA) will award grants to faculty members for new projects in these countries/regions, or on topical projects that may touch upon one or more of these countries/regions. Priority will be given to projects that forge or strengthen connections with in-country collaborators and extend original areas of research.

Applications should be sent to Colette.Watt@duke.edu and must be received by Monday, March 20, 2017, for projects to start in summer 2017.
