CND Staff and Faculty Members Present at EDU-SIM 2016 Conference

Center for Nursing Discovery staff Margie Molloy, Jacki Vaughn and Danett Cantey and faculty members Remi Hueckel and Mahmoud Kaddoura presented at the Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions 2016 EDU-SIM Conference in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Presentations included:

  • Margie Molloy, Jacki Vaughn and faculty member Remi Hueckel on "Innovative Use of Telepresence Robots for Educating Healthcare Professionals."
  • Jackie Vaughn and Margie Molloy on "Testing the Feasibility of Using Google Glass to Increase Reality in Simulation."
  • Danett Cantey and Velinda Chapman on "HI, I CARE: Applying a Safe Patient Care Mnemonic For First Simulation Experiences."
  • Mahmoud Kaddoura presented a podium presentation entitled "Innovative Use of High Fidelity Simulation in Nursing Education: Transition from Classroom to Clinical Practice," and he presented a poster presentation entitled "Promoting Student Clinical Judgment Skills with Simulation:Using Innovative Methodologies."
