Dean Marion E. Broome recently presented a talk at the Duke Ahead Education Grand Rounds entitled "Coaching Emerging Leaders for Their Career." The objectives of her presentation were: 

1. To describe this generation of developing Duke Health professors and their preferred scholars and developmental practices.
2. Discuss the role of mentor/coach in helping scholars "see" how to align their strengths, passion and work style with the vision and mission of the workplace.
3. To identify the top 10 coaching "dos" and "don'ts".
4. Strategies to further develop yourself as a coach and mentor.
