Be’Ledda Dixon, Educational Technology Specialist with the DUSON Course Design Team, recently received certification from the Duke University Financial Management Certification Program. This highly selective program is administered by Duke Financial Administration and provides an intensive, 30-hour training program for participants on areas specific to financial leadership and management. These areas include internal controls, security, asset management, fiscal management and procurement services at Duke.

Dixon was nominated for the highly selective program by her supervisor at the Pratt School of Engineering and completed the final, comprehensive exam shortly after joining DUSON. 

“We are excited that Be’Ledda has earned this rigorous certification," says Nancy Foskey, manager of instructional technology. "We anticipate that the skills she honed in the certification classes will be extremely valuable to future DUSON educational technology projects."
