"I would like to nominate Bonita Douglas, Keysha Hall and Wendy Perry for a Commitment to Excellence Recognition Award for consistently performing significant and exceptional roles in the completion of high impact projects and initiatives. At least twice each semester, the MSN Program Office has rather ambitious projects and timelines we work to meet. We are ever grateful for the Duke University School of Nursing (Division/Faculty Support) Staff Assistants who help our Office with inspired levels of teamwork. Last week we completed a mailing to 446 MSN Preceptors in less than two hours! With an assembly line of address labels, packing envelopes, letters and gifts to our nursing partners - we completed a task that would have taken our three person office days to complete. Each semester, we also ask for volunteers during the MSN On Campus Intensive (OCI) and have yet, to not see one or all of these staff assistants during the week. I’ve worked at DUSON as a staff assistant and know very well just how much they juggle. So we, Michael, Lindsay and I, wanted to say a very loud THANK YOU for their commitment to excellence at DUSON. They are walking examples of our Core Values of Respect, Excellence, Integrity and Collaboration. We appreciate Bonita, Keysha and Wendy for always showing up to help!" ~Najla McClain
