Stephanie Gedzyk-Nieman, assistant professor, and Benjamin Smallheer and Margie Molloy, associate professors, presented at the 2021 ATI National Nurse Educator Summit last week. Brett Morgan, former Nurse Anesthesia-DNP program director, also presented. Their presentation was entitled "Call to Action: Strategies to Address Gender-Associated Incivility in Nursing Education." This presentation reviewed current literature pertaining to gender-associated incivility in nursing education within the classroom, online platforms, and the clinical setting.
