Abstract

This grant submission was funded to develop an educational toolbox including a training manual to guide standardization and sustainability of proposed educational program. Trigger films will be produced to provide opportunities for evaluating behavioral objectives around two interprofessional competencies; values/ethics and communication (Interprofessional Education Collaborative, 2016). This project represents a call for action to impact educator’s ability to speak up and break the stronghold of racial injustices that continue to plague our country. When health professions educators effectively confront racism and bias, they role model inclusive language, improve BIPOC student experiences, and strengthen our diverse community.
