As the Fall semester starts to wind down, our lives tend to become very busy during the holiday season.

During your holidays, please take a moment to give thanks for all we enjoy together.

This fall we began the promising task of implementing our 2016-2020 Strategic Plan with the vision to transform the future of nursing, to advance health with individuals, families and communities.

And many in our Duke University School of Nursing community have been extremely busy making that happen through education, research, clinical practice, community health improvement, global health and people & environment.

This Thanksgiving, we are thankful for students who are ambitious and passionate as future nurse leaders, faculty and staff who are experts in their field and go above and beyond to lead and support this next generation of leaders, and to our illustrious alumni who provide their continuous support.

As gratitude has scientifically been proven to increase happiness, we invite you to take this Thanksgiving holiday break to reflect on moments that bring you happiness.
