Elaine Kauschinger was recently appointed an an onsite evaluator for the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). She was appointed to the role because of her demonstrated expertise and knowledge regarding nursing education, higher education, and nursing practice.

Onsite program evaluators play a key role in the NLN CNEA accreditation process by making on-campus visits to verify evidence that programs seeking accreditation are in compliance with NLN CNEA standards. Evaluators serve on teams that conduct interviews of institution and program administrators, faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders, and review program docmentation to assist in the process of validating program compliance with NLN CNEA accreditation standards.
