Loretta Matters, Heidi White and Jennifer Gentry were invited to present a program they developed to assist all staff in having “meaningful conversations” with patients and families through the efforts of HOPE (Health Optimization Program for Elders) (Heidi White), Duke NICHE (Loretta Matters) and the DUHS Palliative Care team (Jennifer Gentry) at the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association 2017 Annual Convention and Expo.
