MSN Alum and Clinical Associate Named Duke Hospital Chief Nursing Officer

MSN alumna Tracy Gosselin, PhD, RN, AOCN, was recently named Chief Nursing and Patient Care Services Officer for Duke University Hospital by hospital President and DUSON alumni Kevin Sowers, MSN'89, RN, FAAN, and DUHS Vice President of Patient Care and System Chief Nurse Executive and DUSON alumna Mary Ann Fuchs, DNP'10, MSN'90, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN.

Gosselin will have leadership responsibility for nursing practice across the continuum of care at Duke University Hospital, including the inpatient and procedural units, as well as ambulatory care areas. She will also serve on the DUHS Nurse Executive Council where she will assist other nursing colleagues with the development and implementation of the health system nursing strategic plan.

She received her BSN from Northeastern University College of Nursing, an MSN from Duke University School of Nursing and her Doctorate, with an emphasis in Cancer Research, from the University of Utah's College of Nursing. She is a member of numerous professional nursing organizations and she actively publishes in the areas of nursing and leadership. She serves as a Clinical Associate for the Duke University School of Nursing.
