MSN informatics student Marcia Bowen recently presented a poster entitled "Using Social Network Analysis on Biomedical Data for Knowledge Generation and Precision Health" at the Duke Research Computing Symposium. Co-authors of the poster include: Rachel Richesson and experts from Duke University Department of Sociology, Duke Social Sciences Research Institute and The Children's Research Institute. 

The Duke Research Computing Symposium highlighted collaborative research initiatives that use information technologies and digital (sometimes even “big”) data to forge new directions in research.
