Virginia "Chris" Muckler was recently named as one of Auburn University at Montgomery's (AUM) Top 50 at Fifty alumni. After serving on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, Muckler graduated from Auburn Montgomery in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was recognized at a special ceremony on May 5 and Chancellor Carl A. Stockton commented that each honoree had truly earned this distinction.

Muckler was chosen by a committee of AUM administrators, faculty and staff by having distinguished herself in her personal as well as professional life and because of her interest in and involvement with AUM.

The Top 50 at Fifty includes educators, business people, public servants, military leaders and artists among the multitude of vital careers prepared for at Auburn Montgomery.
