Nine DUSON Staff Receive Sakai Engineer Certification

Nine Duke University School of Nursing staff members recently received Sakai Engineer Certification. Achieving this certification required passing a four hour, three-part, performance-based exam that assessed the knowledge and skills required to support a Sakai course. Test participants were asked to demonstrate their skill in completing an extensive series of tasks, from initial course configuration to providing ongoing support for a live course. The tasks included organizing instructional materials, importing content, testing links, creating and managing tests, and setting up custom Forums permissions. Congratulations goes out to Tammy Boseman, Charnetta Cooper, Bonita Douglas, Keysha Hall, Angela Goss,  Karen Jackson, Tiffiany Parker, Wendy Perry, and Helen Williams for this accomplishment. Each team member will receive a framed certificate, signed by Dean Broome, attesting to her status as a certified Sakai Engineer.
