PhD Program Leadership Development Series

PhD program faculty members Robin Dail and Chip Bailey received a Leadership Development Grant from the Duke University Graduate School to sponsor a series of seminars focused on leadership skill development and career options for current PhD students and post-docs. The inaugural lecture was delivered by Dean Marion Broome on February 16. Her talk entitled “Leadership: A life-long journey (and it is never too early to start)” focused on the importance of developing leadership skills for now and the future. The series will be recorded and available for anyone interested in learning from leaders in academia, NIH, health care systems and industry.
