PhD student Latefa Dardas was recently awarded the Rising Stars Award for excellence in nursing scholarship and potential for her research to impact nursing. Dardas was nominated by Leigh Ann Simmons with the support of the awards committee and the board of the Beta Epsilon chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.  

As a winner Dardas will represent DUSON at the 28th International Research Congress in Dublin, Ireland in July 2017.
