PhD Students Ge and LeBlanc Attend Conference in Washington, D.C.

PhD students Shaoqing Ge and Matthew LeBlanc recently attended the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students conference in Washington, D.C. Ge and LeBlanc were two of seven students who represented the body of graduate and professional students at Duke University to meet with state legislative representatives on Capitol Hill. They discussed issues related to the benefits of graduate students such as: academic research funding, title IX, the college transparency act, H1-B Visa reform STEM and domestic renewal of student Visas.
