PhD students Jing Wang and Hanzhang Xu along with Eleanor McConnell recently presented on "Community Care of Frail Elders in Cross Cultural Settings: A team-based approach" at the Strategies to Strenghten Health Systems Globally: A Duke Showcase event. Kirsten Corazzini also worked with the team on building the presentation.

The showcase includes research from 10 teams spanning five continents on work related to emergency medicine, neurosurgery, care coordination from hospital-to-home, and community care. The program featured keynote speaker Andrea Thoumi from the Margolis Center for Health Policy, a panel of leaders in global surgery, student presentations, and networking opportunities.
