Phillips Finalist for Duke AHEAD Award and Accepted into STTI Institute

Beth Cusatis Phillips is a finalist for the Duke AHEAD Interprofessional Education Excellence Award. The inaugural award honors an individual (professionals and staff) who demonstrated commitment, enthusiam, competence and innovation in promoting IPE in teaching, scholarly work and/or clinical education. Recipients of the Interprofessional Excellence Award will be announced on Duke AHEAD Education Day on Sept. 13.

Phillips was also accepted into the Sigma Theta Tau Emerging Educational Administrator Institute. This is a 12-month leadership development experience. Her external mentor will be Dr. Barbara Woodring, a former director and tenured professor of Nursing at Georgia State University.
