Michael Relf was invited to participate with the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA) as a subject matter expert on HIV-related stigma. He will also serve with a sub-committee of PACHA to formulate recommendations as part of the Stigma Reduction Summit.

PACHA is a Federal Advisory Committee that provides advice, information and recommendations to the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services regarding programs, policies, and research to promote effective treatment, prevention and cure of HIV disease and AIDS.

The Stigma Reduction Summit will consist of a group of subject matter experts, community stakeholders, and federal partners to obtain input and develop a recommendations document focusing on internalized stigma, stigma in accessing care and social/community stigma.
