Simmons Presents at Behavioral Medicine Conferences in Arizona & California

Leigh Ann Simmons was the invited speaker for the American Academy of Health Behavior Annual Scientific meeting in Tucson, Ariz. Her presentation was entitled "Beyond the Genome: Advancing Precision Medicine through Personalized Health Behavior Change Interventions."

Simmons also presented at the Annual Society of Behavioral Medicine meeting in San Diego, Calif. She presented twice on "Risk of obesity-associated diseases by BMI and waist conference among childbearing rural women" and "Behavioral weight management trials during pregnancy and postpartum among overweight and obese women: The role of weigh bias."
