Assistant Consulting Professor Denise Spector is the first recipient of the National Partners Scholarship for the Fall 2016 semester. The scholarship, through the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine Fellowship program, will give Spector an opportunity to participate in an Integrative Health and Medicine Program that she has been interested in completing for several years.

In addition to being a part of the DUSON family, Spector is currently the clinical survivorship program director of the Duke Cancer Institute. She also provides holistic care in a cancer survivorship wellness clinic and focuses on integrating healthy lifestyle behaviors among patients with genitourinary cancers.
