Staff Member Baskin Promoted With Marketing & Communications

Staff member Amy Baskin was recently promoted to Assistant Director of the School of Nursing Marketing & Communications Department. She will assume the new role effective October 1.

Baskin joined the department earlier this year, her areas of responsibilities have steadily expanded to include direct oversight of many of the department's day-to-day operations, student recruitment advertising and special projects. In her new role, she will continue these duties as well as work with Stefanie Conrad and LaWanda Forte as the department more closely aligns its resources and support for the School's marketing and communications processes, projects and programs.

According to Assistant Dean of Communications, Marketing & Business Development Michael Evans, for more than two years the department has seen a growth in the number and complexity of projects. The growth has allowed the department to help successfully build a strong brand presence for DUSON, not only within the University and Health System but also the nursing profession. The new role was created to better align the department's services and ensure efficient and effective work to help meet the increased demand.

Congratulations Amy Baskin!
