Students Scholottmann, Nammack, & Moore Attend Betty Ford Medical Training

MSN and DNP student Haley Schlottmann and MSN students Sarah Nammack and Shalane Moore recently attended the Hazzelden Betty Ford Center Medical Education training in Rancho Mirage, California. The purpose of the program is to prevent harm being done to addicted patients by health care providers who have not been trained adequately to recognize addictive disease. The training use a variety of innovative educational, training and research initiatives to identify and promote corrective solutions for the alarming deficiency in graduate medical education.

The three were selected along with students from the University of Colorado to participate in the program.
