Terry Valiga and Marilyn Oermann were selected to serve as mentors for the 2016-2017 Experienced Nurse Faculty Leadership Academy (ENFLA) by Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.

The ENFLA is a 12-month leadership development program designed to help experienced faculty develop as leaders within their own institutions and within the nursing education community, as well as guide them in developing and implementing a project that will advance nursing education.  The current cohort consists of 7 scholars, each of whom is paired with a mentor whose role is to guide their development as leaders and to serve as a resource as the scholars design and implement their leadership projects.
