Why I Give... Two Weeks Left & Relf and Turner Share the Importance of the Campaign

We are so excited about this year’s campaign! Thank you to all who have participated to date. We are still under 30% participation and would love if you would join us and participate! Nursing has a special place in each one of our hearts and throughout the campaign we will share some stories from faculty and staff that support the school’s Annual Fund.

“The students in the School of Nursing are among the nation's best.  They are the future leaders of nursing.  If my gift to the annual fund can help them achieve their goals and prepare them to make a difference in nursing, I am happy to contribute.” ~ Michael Relf, associate professor, Associate Dean for Global and Community Health Affairs

“My husband and I are passionate about giving that supports student scholarships.  Nothing is a better return on your investment than seeing the students you supported cross the stage at graduation and know that they will contribute to the improvement of the health of our nation.” ~ Barbara Turner, Elizabeth P Hanes Distinguished Professor, chair, Division of Health for Women, Children and Families,  director, Population Care Coordination Program.
