The Duke University School of Nursing and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center are proud to host the inaugural Healthcare Innovation Conference. This one-day event is designed to help nurses and other health care providers understand how to accelerate ideas into reality.

Experts will share best practices and insights into the innovation and development process. Learn what financial resources are available to develop and test ideas. Talk with nurses who have envisioned solutions and brought those ideas to reality.

  • Nurses or health care providers interested in learning about how to develop an idea or process improvement.

  • Nurses and health care providers who have an idea and want to learn about what resources and support may be available for developing it.

Dr. Weberg is an expert in nursing, healthcare innovation and human-centered patient design with extensive clinical experience in emergency departments, acute in-patient hospital settings and academia.

The lecture and reception will be held adjacent to the Duke University School of Nursing in the Trent Semans Center.

If you are unable to attend this event, you may: transfer your registration to another person from your organization. There will be no charge or penalty for substitution. To request a transfer, contact with the new attendee name and contact information. Substitutions should be made more than 5 business days prior to the conference start date. On the day of the event, absent attendees will be considered “no shows” and will not be eligible for a refund or transfer. Cancellations must be made in writing to more than 10 business days before the event and will be assessed a cancellation fee of $25.
