Current Students

To receive a financial aid offer for the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters, follow the instructions below:

  • Complete the 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):

    • School Code: 002920

    • Degree/Certificate: 2nd Bachelor’s Degree

    • Current Grade Level: 5th year undergraduate

    • Import 2018 federal tax information using IRS Data Retrieval tool

    • Parent information may be required based on criteria outlined by the Department of Education

    • Priority deadline: May 1

    • Read the Financial Aid Notification emailed to you and available in the DukeHub by mid-June

    • Reapply for a private student loan with a loan lender for fall 2020 and spring 2021 (if needed) by mid-July

    • Accept your federal loans prior to the August 1 Bursar bill due date (NOTE: verify that you have updated the academic year at the top of the financial aid tab in the DukeHub to reflect the 2020-21 academic year)
