At the 46th Congress of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology in Toronto, Cheryl Rodgers gave two podium presentations co-authored with Marilyn Hockenberry: "An evidence-based practice program within the children’s oncology group nursing discipline" and "Depressive symptoms in children during hematopoietic stem cell transplant recovery."
Cheryl Rodgers and her mentor Marilyn Hockenberry have received an award from Alex’s Lemonade Stand for their grant application entitled “Symptom Patterns during Pediatric Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant." This award is for a two-year period, awarded January 15, 2015, to January 14, 2017. This project was awarded at $98,528 for the two-year project period.
DNP student Colleen McLaughlin published her capstone paper entitled "Standardization of health care provider competencies for intrathecal access procedures" in the Journal of Pediatric Oncology Nursing. Faculty coauthors were Marilyn Hockenberry, Rémi Hueckel and Sharron Docherty.

Beth Duffy, DNP'14, and faculty members Cheryl Rodgers and Marilyn Hockenberry published an article entitled "Implementing a daily maintenance care bundle to prevent central line-associated bloodstream infections in pediatric oncology patients" in the Journal of Pediatric Oncology Nursing. The article is the result of Beth's DNP capstone.
