Library Resources

First you must configure your computer for remote access.

  1. To access Duke Libraries' resources from off campus, you must install a VPN client that is available from Duke's Office of Information Technology (OIT). Download the VPN client for Duke University affiliates (NOT Health System) at http://www.oit.duke.edu/net-security/network/remote/vpn/. If you already have a VPN through your employer, please check with citdl@mc.duke.edu before downloading this and overwriting your current VPN.

  2. To access library resources such as journals or databases, set the VPN's department option to Library Resources Only, OR

  3. Use EZProxy from off-campus without having to download any software.

Visit the Remote Access to Library Resources webpage for more information.
