At the 11th annual International Nursing Simulation/Learning Resources Centers Conference, June 20-23, in San Antonio, Texas, Clinical Instructor Kathleen Conn received first place in the education tract for a poster she presented and co-authored with Center for Nursing Discovery Coordinator Margie Molloy and Assistant Professor Terry Ward entitled "Using Technology as an Innovative Approach to Enhance Intellectual Empathy in Nursing Students." Associate Consultant Rosa Solórzano received third prize in the education tract for a poster she presented and co-authored with Clinical Instructor Kathleen Conn entitled "Beyond Translation: Learning Spanish Using Simulation Enhanced Educational Tools." Research Analyst Elizabeth (Betsy) Flint was instrumental in assisting with both posters.
