Janelle Bludorn, PA-C - Assistant Director PA Program
Janelle Bludorn, PA-C is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health where she also holds the role of Academic Coordinator in the Duke PA Program.
Ms. Bludorn's medical education interests and expertise include point of care ultrasound, healthcare communication, use of technology in healthcare and education, simulation, and interprofessional engagement. She has been recognized for her innovative and inclusive teaching methods and mentorship of future healthcare professionals through awards including the North Carolina PA of the Year and the Duke PA Treadwell Teaching Award.
Prior to coming to Duke, she was faculty at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Medicine Department of Health Sciences, and has had over a decade of clinical practice experience in emergency medicine at UNC Healthcare in Chapel Hill, NC, Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, and Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, CA.
