Our NP Students
As a top graduate nursing school, our program attracts the brightest and the best students from around the globe. Students admitted to the Duke University School of Nursing nurse practitioner (NP) programs go through a competitive admissions packet review as well as an interview. Our admitted students have a consistent record of leadership, scholarship and service or demonstrate high potential to achieve these things. Our admission GPA cutoff is 3.0. Most of our students have been nurses prior to enrolling in the NP program and many of them continue to work as RN’s as they progress through the NP program. As a preceptor for the nurse practitioner program, you will work with some of the best graduate nursing students available.
