2018 Oncology Nurse Scientist Intensive Announcement

The ONS Foundation is pleased to announce the 2018 Oncology Nurse Scientist Intensive. This program will join 10 competitively selected participants and senior research scientist faculty mentors to collaborate in a mock study section and working sessions to refine grant proposals. The Intensive is designed to foster the needs and interests of early career oncology nurse scientists in a supportive environment. The participants will have a plan and timeline for submitting a research proposal to a specific funding organization by the completion of the Intensive program.

We would like to communicate this new collaborative learning opportunity to as many PhD prepared nurses as possible. If you have the means to post this type of announcement at your institution, on your website or can email it to a portion of your PhD prepared students, who may be interested in participating, we would greatly appreciate your assistance.

The letters of intent are due November 13, 2017 and applications (invited) are due April 2, 2018.
