There's still time to honor and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Wednesday, Jan. 23. Join members of the Duke community for the 2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. commemoration address "Why Words Matter: From Dissent to Dialogue." This two-part series Shaun King at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Theater.
King is a columnist at The Intercept and writer-in-residence at Harvard Law School's Fair Punishment project.
Tickets are available. This event is sponsored by the 2019 Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Commemoration Committee. The event is free and open to the public and free parking is available in the Bryan Center parking garage.
