3 Weeks Until We March for Babies

We are only three weeks away from the March for Babies Walk! As of Friday, April 8, DUSON has raised $5,838, that's 54 percent to our goal. We have 44 individuals registered and 24 individuals who have raised funds. As for the teams, DUSON FACULTY is still in the lead with $3,574.18, DUSON STAFF are in second place with $1,403.95, and DUSON STUDENTS are in third place with $860.

Don't worry, there's still time to raise money! Sign up or prepare to feed your sweet tooth with our March of Dimes Bake Sale on Friday, April 15, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Atrium. For more information, contact Tondelaya George at tondelaya.george@duke.edu.

Need help fundraising? Here's some tips from the March of Dimes:

• Ask 10 people for $10.00 (by raising $100.00 the individual will receive a March for Babies T-shirt)
• Ask 5 neighbors for $10.00
• Put a coin box on your dresser at home and empty your pockets every day, we all have loose change at home. Contact Tondelaya George for coin box.
• Post on Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Kick start your campaign with a personal donation and ask a friend to match it
• Ask 4 family members for $25.00
