Four ABSN students, Heather O’Donohue, Rachel Castillo, Yunah Kang and Julia Grubbs, assisted at an event presented by the Duke Office of Durham & Community Affairs. The event, “Housing in Durham: A Community Conversation,” was held recently at the Community Family Life & Recreation Center at Lyon Park, where Duke University President Vincent Price and Durham Mayor Steve Schewel were in attendance among other community and university housing experts and advocates. The students volunteered their time to take notes during table conversations in which participants were asked for their feedback about housing issues in Durham.
