DUSON ABSN students are shown volunteering with Curamericas Global in the CBS 17 story "Raleigh nonprofit wants to teach Spanish-speaking volunteers about COVID-19 contact tracing" by Laura Smith. Curamericas is a nonprofit that boosted its outreach to Spanish-speaking residents in response to COVID-19. The ABSN students, along with Assistant Professor Irene Felsman, developed a program with Curamericas that provides information to Spanish-speaking families about the virus and how to stay healthy.
