Advancing an Anti-Racism Curriculum for Health Professional Education Symposium
Join the Duke University School of Medicine on Jan. 24 and 25 for a symposium on Advancing an Anti-Racism Curriculum in the Health Professions: Putting Knowledge into Practice. The symposium will open on Thursday evening the 24 with the 2019 Boyarsky Lecture "More Just, More Humane: Reimagining the Social Role of Medicine." A half-day of presentations and roundtable discussions on educational innovations, opportunities and barriers will follow on the morning of Friday the 25.
This symposium is designed for sharing ideas, promoting networks and building on our commitment to justice and equity in health care. It is free and open to all who care about finding better strategies for meaningful education for health professionals. Registration is required.
