Attention Students: DGHI Would Love Your Assistance
The Duke Global Health Institute (DGHI) education team is re-convening the DGHI student council and is seeking applicants from 10 different colleges and schools.
The DGHI Student Council:
- Communicates student interests in global health.
- Identifies and proposes new global health programs for the Institute.
- Participates, as appropriate, in the work of the Institute to ensure that programs meet the needs of the student body.
- Represents the Council on the Executive Committee and other DGHI committees as appropriate.
Members of the Student Council represent all students enrolled in full-time academic programs at Duke, including undergraduates, graduate and professional schools. Representation will be as follows:
1. Nicholas School for the Environment: two representatives (graduate/professional or undergraduate students)
2. Fuqua School of Business: two representatives (graduate/professional students only)
3. Sanford Institute of Public Policy: two representatives (may be graduate or undergraduate students)
4. Law School: two representatives (graduate/professional students only)
5. Trinity College of Arts and Sciences: four representatives (undergraduates only)
6. Divinity School: two representatives (graduate/professional students only)
7. School of Medicine: two representatives (graduate/professional students only)
8. School of Nursing: two representatives (may be graduate/professional or undergraduate students only)
9. Graduate School (Arts and Sciences): two representatives (may be graduate/professional students only)
10. Pratt School of Engineering: two representatives (may be graduate/professional students only)
