Bean Invited to Present at Mediasite Unleash17

On May 3, 2017, Rodney Bean, DUSON distance education technology specialist, presented "Best Practices for Integrating Closed Captioning with Mediasite" at the Mediasite Unleash17 users conference in Madison, Wisconsin.  He was assisted by a representative from 3Play Media, the company who provides the closed captioning service for us.

In the presentation he described to attendees the process that DUSON follows to implement close captioning into our Mediasite videos, as well as other programming we offer. He spoke in detail about how DUSON uses 3Play Media in conjunction with Mediasite to create a seamless process of closed captioning for our faculty – from the moment a video is identified to the delivery of the closed captioned video and transcript.

Rodney was invited by Mediasite & 3Play to present as a part of the annual conference centered around Mediasite, our current service provider for course videos.
