Beta Epsilon's Rising Star Award Nominations Open
DUSON’s Beta Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International is seeking nominations of a deserving student as a “Rising Stars of Research and Scholarship” for a poster presentation during the 45th Biennial Convention in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 16-20. The award recipients must be present when their poster is on display. Beta Epsilon is willing to support the two “Rising Stars” attendance at the convention by paying for the reduced student registration fee, airfare, one hotel night and preparation of the poster to be presented.
Interested applicants must do the following:
- Must be enrolled as a current student at the time of nomination, but you are not required to be a student at the time of convention.
- Complete the attached application form, which includes the title of the poster to be presented and a brief description of the research it would describe
- Submit the application in electronic format to: benjamin.smallheer@duke.edu
- Submit the completed application no later than Feb. 6, 2019. No applications will be accepted after this point.
