Brown Smith Becomes New Assistant Director

Duke AHEAD and the Duke Health Interprofessional Education and Care Center (IPEC) are pleased to announce that Jacqueline Brown Smith will be joining our teams in the newly created shared position of assistant director of Assessment and Evaluation.

jacqueline Brown smith headshotDuke AHEAD and the Duke Health Interprofessional Education and Care Center (IPEC) are pleased to announce that Jacqueline Brown Smith will be joining their teams in the newly created shared position of assistant director of assessment and evaluation. In her new position, Brown Smith will be responsible for the design and implementation of evaluation plans for IPEC Center-sponsored interprofessional education programs the delivery and evaluation of interprofessional faculty development programs offered through Duke AHEAD.

Brown Smith joins them from her previous role as research program leader within Duke School of Nursing. She received her Masters of Health Administration and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Pfeiffer University and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. In addition to Brown Smith’s experience in managing complex data, her experience with diversity initiatives will continue to advance the missions of both Duke AHEAD and the IPEC Center.
