Call for Abstracts: 8th Annual Stanford Medicine National Nursing Research Symposium

Sanford Medicine invites you to submit abstracts that explore how health care environments contribute to improved healing for the 8th Annual National Nursing Research Symposium on June 2, 2017.

This symposium provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your research, evidence-based practice project or quality improvement project that focuses on transforming the health care environment to optimize patient care experience and improve health outcomes. Examples of work may include noise reduction, workflow redesign, clear way finding, collaborative meeting areas, soft lighting, stress reducing spaces, navigation systems, and the growth of transitional environments such as the home and community. As organizations strive to improve the patient care experience and health outcomes while reducing costs, an understanding of how hospital and home environments contribute to overall health, has never been more timely.
